Information Clikkin Collects

Clikkin members provide us with two types of information when they join and use the Site. The first is personal information you knowingly share with us such as e-mail address, name, and zip code. The second type relates to the information we collect as you use this Site.

The personal information is what we collect when you register with Clikkin. We collect your name, e-mail address, city, state, zip, year of birth and the reason you are joining the Web Site. Clikkin also collects the browser types and IP addresses of our members. To let users log in easily, we use session ID cookies that store members' login ID and your password. A cookie is a piece of data that is stored on the user’s computer. You can remove or block cookies by using the settings in your browser if you want to disable this convenient feature.

On Clikkin, you can set up a family page, post a blog, upload photos, invite family and friends to join, start or join a group, perform searches, add comments to other members’ blogs, utilize VoIP technology, add information about your family, search and purchase items and transmit information through various channels. We retain certain information so that you can view your prior messages and posts or conveniently view your Clikkin network. We make periodic backups of prior versions of the site, and they are saved for a reasonable period of time.

When you post User Content, you are doing so at your own risk (see Clikkin Terms of Use). Clikkin currently offers two levels of privacy, which serve to limit who can access your page. Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your pages and information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that User Content you post on the Site will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content.

Any improper collection or misuse of information provided on Clikkin is a violation of the Clikkin Terms of Service and should be reported to privacy@clikkin.com.

Clikkin lets members invite their friends and family to the Site. If you choose to use this service, we will ask you for the email addresses of those you wish to invite. We will then automatically send your family and friends a one-time e-mail inviting them to join the site. Clikkin also lets members add co-administrators to their profile pages. Co-administrators have access to all of the features on your page except your account settings. Clikkin stores the information that you provide about co-administrators, regardless of whether they use the Site. Your family and friends may contact us at privacy@clikkin.com to request that we remove this information from our database.

By using Clikkin, you are consenting to have your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.

Children Under Age 14

We do not currently allow children 14 or under to register for Clikkin. Moreover, we ask everyone who signs up to certify that they are over 14 and to accept our terms and conditions. If you are under 14, please do not attempt to register for Clikkin or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address.

If you believe that we might have received any information from a child under 14 who has registered for the Web Site, please contact us at privacy@clikkin.com

Children Between the Ages of 14 and 18

We recommend that minors over the age of 14 ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet.

Use of Information Obtained by Clikkin

When you register with Clikkin, you create your own profile and privacy settings. Your profile information, which includes your name and photo, is displayed to people in your network and groups. If you so choose, we may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications regarding new services offered by Clikkin that we think you would find valuable.

The profile information we collect is presented back to you and to the people in your Clikkin network or to members of your groups. In the search sections, your name may be available in search results across the Clikkin network. This is primarily so that your family and friends can find you and send a friend request. People who see your name in searches will not be able to access your profile information unless you give them permission.

Clikkin may occasionally send you Site-related announcements through the general operation of the service if you select this option in the account section. For instance, if a group member adds a new post or you are invited to join a new group, you may receive an e-mail alerting you to that fact.

Clikkin reserves the right to send you notice about your account even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.

Clikkin may use information in your profile without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as aggregating how many people like a particular toy, store, etc.

Third Parties

Clikkin lets you share information with your network while also providing you with privacy settings to restrict others from viewing your profile. We do not provide contact information to third party marketers without your permission. In limited circumstances, we may share your information. We will do so if it is 1) reasonably necessary; 2) legally required or; 3) permitted by you. Here are a few examples:

Unlike most sites on the Web, Clikkin limits access to site information by third party search engine "crawlers" (e.g. Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask). Clikkin takes action to block access by these engines.

We may be required to disclose user information pursuant to lawful requests, such as subpoenas or court orders, or in compliance with applicable laws. We will not reveal this information until the request by law enforcement or private litigants meets applicable legal standards. Additionally, we may share account or other information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, to protect our interests or property, to prevent fraud or other illegal activity perpetrated through the Clikkin service or using the Clikkin name, or to prevent imminent bodily harm. This may include sharing information with other companies, lawyers, agents or government agencies.

We may provide services jointly with other companies on Clikkin. We may share customer information with that company in connection with your use of that store or service.

We may receive some information even if you are logged out from Clikkin, or that pertains to non-Clikkin users, from those sites in conjunction with the technical operation of the system. In cases where Clikkin receives information on users that are not logged in, or on non-Clikkin users, we do not attempt to associate it with individual Clikkin accounts and will discard it.

If the ownership of all or substantially all of the Clikkin business, or individual business units owned by Clikkin, LLC were to change, your user information may be transferred to the new owner so the service can continue operations. In any such transfer of information, your user information would remain subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Policy.

When you use Clikkin, certain information you post or share with third parties (e.g., someone in your network), such as personal information, comments, photos, or other information, may be shared with other users in accordance with the privacy settings you select. All such sharing of information is done at your own risk. Please keep in mind that if you disclose personal information in your profile or when posting comments, messages, photos, or other items, this information may become publicly available.

Links

Clikkin may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other web sites. When you leave our site, we encourage you to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by Clikkin.

Third Party Advertising

Advertisements that appear on Clikkin are sometimes delivered directly to users by third party advertisers. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. These third party advertisers may also download cookies to your computer, or use other technologies such as JavaScript and "web beacons" to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. Doing this allows the advertising network to recognize your computer each time they send you an advertisement in order to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. In this way, they may compile information about where individuals using your computer or browser saw their advertisements and determine which advertisements are clicked. Clikkin does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third party advertisers. Third party advertisers have no access to your contact information stored on Clikkin unless you choose to share it with them.

This privacy policy covers the use of cookies by Clikkin and does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by any of its advertisers.

Clikkin may keep backup copies for a reasonable period of time, but this information will not be generally available to members of Clikkin.

Where you make use of the communication features to share information with other individuals on Clikkin, however, (e.g., sending a personal message to another Clikkin user) you generally cannot remove such communications.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here. We encourage you to refer to this policy on an ongoing basis so that you understand our current privacy policy. Unless stated otherwise, our current privacy policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account.
